Save your wallet and the environment!

Here in Denmark, a relatively warm and windy fall has helped us save energy, generate some surplus in renewables and keep prices low. But that does not mean that we are over the crisis.

Just a few weeks into winter we have already seen some energy price increases as predicted by the Danish Energy Agency. And we can certainly expect prices to climb up further throughout the next few months.

While temperatures are falling, more and more buildings must be heated, and we are using up our energy reserves the further we get into winter.
So, while prices might begin to rise again, do your wallet and the environment a favour and keep your energy consumption at a minimum.

Let’s continue the energy-saving habits that we have trained ourselves to do.

Here is what you can do:

  • Check your office and warehouse heating – there is no point in having it on if no one is working

  • Rather work on your laptop than on your desktop – uses up to 75% less energy

  • Switch off your power strip before you leave – especially for TVs and Monitors

  • Use LED light bulbs

  • Charge your devices in airplane mode – charges more efficiently

  • Delete unnecessary files from your cloud

  • Delete old E-mails

Get your blankets out – winter is coming!
